Molly Buccini

Our team of social media associates and strategists are undoubtedly a group of great communicators – their interpersonal skills are what make them excel at their jobs on and off the web.

Social media associate Joey Calcavecchia fits the social description to a T. He joined the team in December 2013 and was quick to jump onto the office’s Fun Committee, participate in our Brafton blog and he ran the campaign of our Social March Madness winner.

His favorite part about the job, besides being a social media maven for clients?

“I really enjoy the social media team’s enthusiasm,” he said. “One moment we are all talking about the best pizza in the city and the next moment we are all hard at work. The balance of work and play in the office is one aspect of the job I really like.”

Learn more about Joey in our Brafton Q&A:

Q: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

As a kid, I really wanted to be a spaceship engineer designer. I’ve always enjoyed designing and building things. I would get the newest Legos and build very detailed spaceships.

Q: What do you think is the most important quality needed for success?

Open communications, because without that how will you know how to grow as a person?

Q: What do you value most in a job?

The opportunity to be exposed to so many different  industries. It’s been a great chance to learn more.

Q: What is your most treasured possession?

My most treasured possession would probably be my iPad mini. I really like watching TV so being able to catch up on my shows wherever I am is very valuable to me.

Q: Which day of the work week are you the most productive

I would have to say Tuesday. It’s the day after Monday, so my brain is like “Okay, lets do it!”

ThereHeIs (2)Q: What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Playing a game of soccer with some locals in Sicily.

Q: Have any “hidden talents”?

Drawing. When I was younger I use to draw a lot of cartoon characters – mostly Tiny Toons and Spiderman.

Q: If Brafton was a TV show, which character – from any sitcom, drama or reality show (of any time period) – would represent you?

I would say Joey from Friends. Because who wouldn’t eat free pizza even that someone left behind?
