When you ask Senior Marketing Research Executive Saayali Rege when she started at Brafton, she’s likely to reply “many light years ago.”

The reason why it feels like she’s been with Brafton for so long, she explained, is because in a short amount of time she’s gained an immense knowledge of the marketing and sales process – so much so that it makes her feel like she’s been doing it for years. (And for the record, “light years ago” traces back to January, 2013.)

Being a marketing research executive not only meant Saayali was able to boost her communication and time management skills, but also gave her the opportunity to become proficient in marketing software tools like Marketo and Salesforce.

“The marketing research team gets the distinct honor of being the starting point of the processes at Brafton,” she said. “I like that I’m able to interact with potential clients, as well as with all the teams that form this awesome company.”

So alongside being a mentor to her teammates and taking on extra projects, Saayali said it was important to her to help foster the bigger community picture. Last year she played a big part in bringing together the whole team – through a cross-country pumpkin carving competition.

“I figured we needed something to fun to bring the teams together and get some healthy competition going … so what better than something festive?”

And the results were pretty impressive. Saayali said the event got such positive feedback, she’s in the works for planning a second annual competition this October.

“I love being part of a young company with such amazing and fun people,” she said.
