Setting up a corporate blog can rapidly boost online marketing efforts and increase a website’s search engine optimization, an expert has commented.

Wendy Suto, president and chief executive officer of Search Circus, told online marketing news source 4Hoteliers that blogging allows a firm to publish industry news and content.

"By offering information and sharing knowledge, a company can quickly establish itself as a leading industry expert, get information to customers quickly and attract new customers looking for relevant information," she explained.

In addition, blogging helps increase the number of inbound links a website builds, which also helps boost its search engine ranking, Ms Suto continued.
