By connecting millions of people with tens of thousands of language tutors, Preply has helped bridge the communication gap between individuals across the globe.

But when it came to expressing their brand vision, the team at Preply realized they needed a different kind of language — a visual one. That’s where we came in to help.

Mapping the World’s Literary Landscape

Preply chose to work with us due to our expertise in data-driven content, creativity and communication. Now, it was up to us to deliver. Success was measured by brand recognition metrics, such as backlinks, content shares and earned media from third-party publishers.

Our work for Preply included creating custom illustrations, designing landing pages and developing a language-learning calculator. But we were also enlisted to help on a much larger project: a map of the world documenting the most-translated piece of literature for every single country.

Results That Speak Volumes

We rose to the challenge and fitted the name of the country, the book, the author and the number of times it was translated onto the map for 150 countries.

Apart from being a visually stunning masterpiece, the map project yielded impressive results in just 2.5 months. It generated more than 200 referring domains, over 500 backlinks and an estimated $60,000 worth of links. The project also earned Brafton an AVA Digital Award, recognizing our team’s exceptional design work and data-driven content style.
